Penny Bag
Has anyone tried to make the Penny Bag? It seems like a lot of extra work to knit the front pattern then the bottom and then reverse the pattern up the back? Is there a reason for this? would knitting it in the round change everything? This is my first knit along and some of these patterns seem less clear to me?? Thanks!

I don't see a reason why you couldn't work the bag in the round up from the bottom to the flap. You could even start with a provisional CO and join the bottom using a 3-needle BO. Or you could work the bag in the round from top to bottom, then either pick up sts at the top for the flap or work the flap separately and sew it on. Lots of options...
