I'm not sure why I waited so long to finish the handwork on this bag, but it is now finally complete. I think I'll be happy not to have made the entire handle out of chain as the 2 rings connecting bag to handle are quite heavy on their own. Whew! Finally I can claim an FO! :)

Your bag is beautiful! That's the bag I bought the book for - but I haven't started it yet. I think you have just inspired me to do that!
That is totally awesome! I love it! What yarn did you use? I just receive my yarn from knitpicks and I'm hoping to start on my version after I line the other bag... I am trying not to have too many projects going...
Your bag is gorgeous. WOW! Nice job! Jane, this is the bag I brought the book for as well. i really like what you did with the lining and the tag. I need to purchase some of those. Where can I get some. I really need to label my work. Great work!
Job well done!! I may have to try this one myself. The handle looks familiar, did you use the one I suggested?
Thanks, gals! I used Patons Classic Wool Tweed, bought 3 skeins, but only used 2. The handle idea came from Marsha and worked perfectly! Even my husband commented positively on that idea. :) I make my own tags with computer ink jet fabric you can get just about anywhere.
I was looking at your completed project again. I want one of these. I just noticed that the handle is felted. Again, great job!
Fabulous job on the bag. I like the handle.
